| KSA Engineers, Inc. was hired to make major improvements to FM 1402 at IH-30 which runs through Mount Pleasant, TX.
This project included rehabilitating and widening the existing bridge and approaches from US-67 north across IH-30. The bridge and approaches were widened from two lanes to four lanes, and the bridge was raised to increase vertical clearance over IH-30.
The ramps/frontage roads at all four quadrants were rehabilitated and re-graded to tie into the raised bridge and approaches.
KSA performed the schematic design, roadway design, signing and pavement marking design and developed the bridge layout. This project was fast-tracked in order to make use of an available, unexpected funding source. |
