As a professional engineer, Brent hopes to further develop expertise in master planning and water infrastructure design. His current projects include developing a master plan for a municipality that serves the southern portion of Brazos County and a rehabilitation of a 1920’s era dam on the Navasota River. Brent plans on continuing to work for KSA as a Project Engineer and will serve on the Operations and Management Team for the next year.
“Being an engineer at KSA has allowed me to develop valuable engineering skills that benefit municipalities and at the same time have time to explore activities that make life interesting," he said.
Jonathan, a Design Engineer in the McKinney office, has been with the firm since 2006. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
As a design engineer, he assists with the planning, design and construction phase engineering of a variety of municipal projects. The scope of his work has included airports, wastewater collection systems, storm water improvements, and street improvements.
Jonathan has been part of the planning and construction of multiple projects at over 10 different airports. He has extensive knowledge in project scope development, cost estimating, preliminary and final design, and construction administration. “I am very grateful for the opportunity KSA has given me over the past 5 years to improve in the engineering industry and look forward to many more years to come as I begin this new chapter of my life," he said.
Todd began working for KSA's Longview office in August of 2007 after graduating from Texas A&M. Since hiring on with KSA, he has worked as a Design Engineer, and his work experience has included water distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, storm water collection systems, street improvements, industrial projects, drainage improvements, and city parks projects.
His involvement in various projects has included development of project estimates, overseeing / development of preliminary and final plans and specifications, construction administration, construction inspection, development of water and wastewater system models, performing system evaluations/analyses, development of reports and exhibits, and much more.
"I’m really excited about having achieved a goal that I’ve been working on for years," Todd said. "I see obtaining my professional engineering license as having reached a mile marker in my career. I know I still have a lot to learn and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop as an engineer at KSA who completes quality projects on time and within budget for clients."
