A beautiful new red and white water tower graces the skyline of downtown Groesbeck, Texas. After careful planning and design work by
KSA Engineers, Inc., the tank now stands 125 feet tall and proudly displays the City’s logo to all who live and visit Groesbeck.
This project included the design of a 300,000 gallon elevated water storage tank, site piping, and the addition of system valves to
enable the tank to operate efficiently in the existing City water system. System integration of the new water tank was based on water
modeling of the City’s water system and includes SCADA control and monitoring of the tank’s water level. Two styles of elevated tanks
- multi-column and pedisphere – were specified in the bid documents to provide the city with different cost and aesthetic options.
Special attention was paid by KSA during construction inspection, as this tank would be the most prominent and visible structure within
the downtown area.
