As part of a multi-year contract with The Texas A&M University System, KSA Engineers, Inc. was selected to design several airport
improvement projects for the Easterwood Airport in College Station.
Construction included a concrete Taxiway H for approximately 2,100 feet from Taxiway C-1 to the south end of Runway 16/34, with
drainage improvements, new signage, lighting, and pavement markings.
KSA’s construction phase services for this project included an in-depth review of the Contractor’s qualifications and any cost reduction
considerations, facilitating meetings, and monitoring and maintaining the construction schedule and budget.
Funding for this project was provided through FAA AIP grant funds (90%), and a local match (10%).
