David Alexander, P.E., has been with KSA Engineers, Inc. since 2006. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001 and began his career with the Texas Department of Transportation. David has completed planning, design, and construction administration for more than $100 million in highway and aviation improvements during his career. While working at TxDOT, he gained experience in all aspects of PS&E development, including surveying and data collection; geometric design; hydrology and hydraulic design; traffic control planning; and construction management. Since joining KSA, David has expanded his experience to aviation. He has completed a wide variety of aviation projects such as Airport Layout Plans, runway and taxiway design (flexible and rigid), terminal area plans, instrument approach procedure coordination, construction phasing and safety plans, terminal apron design, PAPI-2 and -4 designs, perimeter roads, security fencing, airport development planning, and airport drainage design. As a licensed pilot, David sees projects from the perspective of an engineer and pilot.
