City of Buffalo Shelley V. Pate Memorial Park – This Texas Parks and Wildlife funded park designed by KSA included:
- 55 ft x 50 ft pavilion
- Restroom building
- Softball field with dugouts and scorers’ stand
- Tennis courts
- Basketball court
- Sand volleyball court
- Playscape
- Jogging and nature trail
- Lighting, water and sewer utilities
- Access roads, parking areas, and sidewalks
The hilly topography of this site offered special challenges for design to meet handicapped access requirements and to provide adequate pedestrian and vehicle circulation. |
